You will receive 5 orchid plants (see sample picture for size reference; some may be slightly smaller or larger). These orchids are not currently in spike or flower but are easy to grow, fast-growing, hardy, and forgiving. You will receive a minimum of 5 different plants from varieties such as Cattleya, Oncidium, Dendrobium, Tolumnias, Phalaenopsis, Miltonias, or Vandas. Orchids are chosen randomly based on our changing stock, which is always improving. All orchids come with name tags. Orchids are shipped bare root. Upon arrival, the roots will be dry—this is normal. Soak them in lukewarm water for a few minutes before planting them in orchid medium. These are small starter plants, not full-grown, making them a great addition to begin or expand your collection. Blooming Details: Oncidiums and Dendrobiums are expected to bloom soon. Vandas and Cattleyas are smaller and will take longer to bloom. Seasonal Notes: In winter, we may replace Phalaenopsis with other orchids (such as Tolumnia, Ionopsis, or Rhynchostilis). During the summer, a natural white film is applied to the orchid leaves for protection against fungus, bugs, and high temperatures—do not wash this off. Remember: let your orchids dry completely between watering for optimal growth.
